This post is intended for the people who never heard of Lhaovo. Lhaovo are a tribe of people of an ethnic people in Kachins State of Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. Kachins are Jingpho, Ravang, Lisu, Zaiwa, Lacid, Nung and Lhaovo.
There are seven states and seven division lands in the country.
States are named after the majority people who reside within the state, they are Kachins State, Shan, Chin, Karenni, Karen, Mon and Arakan(Rakhine) State. The Division lands are Ayawadi, Sagaing, Tanintari, Magwe, Pago, Mandalay and Yangon division.
For almost a century Lhaovo are under the influence of its cousin tribe called Jingpho. Before Burma got the independent from the British, 90% of Kachins became Christians under the American Baptist Mission and most of them fought the Japanese alongside with the American Rangers in WWII.
